Web development is in a very good place right now for online learning. A lot of good content creator on youtube sharing their knowledge. If you are completely new to coding, no worries, I suggest you start learning html and css, then proceed to learning about javascript. Javascript is a vast langueage today which is essential in front-end development but can also be used for back-end (server side) development. Some other back-end languages, which some would say are more robust than javascript, are: C#, C++, Java, F# are the most common ones.
I would also suggest, when you feel a bit secure, you try to make a small projects on your own, a lot of the learning experience comes from googling and finding the answers to the problem you're having, and trust me, there will be problems. With enough motivation it is only a matter of time until you are proficient in web development!
