There is a well established community to learn web development online today, with a lot of good content creator on youtube sharing their knowledge. If you are completely new to coding, start learning html and css, then proceed to learning about javascript. Javascript is a vast langueage today which is essential in front-end development but can also be used for back-end (server side) development. Some other back-end languages are: C#, C++, Java, F#.
When you feel a bit more secure, you can try to make some small projects on your own, a lot of the learning process comes from googling and finding the answers to the problem you're having. With enough motivation it is only a matter of time until you are proficient in web development!
